Jumpers
Many thanks again to those who have sent jumpers to St James. It is very hot and humid in Zimbabwe now, but in six months time it will be cold, maybe freezing even. You can send jumpers (for younger children) at St James and St Clares at Dlula quite cheaply by surface mail via Mrs E Ndiweni, 7549/11 Tshabalala, Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. The joy of the recipients has to be seen to be believed!
Just Giving
When Nick Darch ran the Great South Run last year his sponsorship for FSJMS was paid through Just Giving, the major fundraising organisation in the UK. The committee has kept the account open at a small cost generously subsidised by one of its members. To make a direct donation electronically you can go direct to www.justgiving.com/fsjms
Christmas 2010 Why not try out the Just Giving site with a donation to FSJMS this Christmas? Many people nowadays, when we have so much, ask friends and relatives to give a donation to charity in place of a present. Or maybe we can be cheeky and ask if we ourselves can give a present to FSJMS instead of buying them a gift. You can also, of course, send a cheque made out to FSJMS to our Treasurer, Mrs E H Wakefield, 5 Catherston Close, Frome, BA11 4HR.
2011 AGM
The date for the AGM is Saturday 26th March 2011 at St Mary’s Church, West Moors, Dorset, BH22 0JF.
